Is there a downside to using a 'login with Facebook' option?

I typically use a 'login with Facebook' plugin on my WordPress sites, to make it that much easier for someone to register with me.

I'm now working on a BuddyPress community, and I had planned without thought on including that functionality - but it got me wondering. As the person running the site, am I giving anything important away by letting Facebook handle that?

If they register with me, I get their email. Do I get that when they login with Facebook? Obviously I want to collect valid emails, so it got me wondering if I was still getting an email deposit every time someone logged in, or if I was losing out somehow.

Thanks, it might be that my brain is just friend, I've been up since like 420 this morning.
