Is there a certain "safe" amount of times to install wordpress on a domain?

Well, just like most of my questions, the title basically sums it up...

When using fantastico, typically how many installs of wordpess in different directories using different themes is a safe number?

I guess this is sorta like subdomains, and im only planning on doing 3 installs in different locations on my site to be specific...

Is this a pretty safe number as to keeping the site fast and not using a lot of resources and space?

Can I ask why anyone would have 53 installs of Wordpress on one domain? Seems extremely excessive unless your domain is everything.com

I think maybe they might mean one hosting plan? Saves money perhaps.
I'm not too sure either :p

Saves money on domain's I suppose as they're using sub and not addon's, but it's still all on one site.

Hmm ok, I would think there's an easier way by adding directories and editing some code to point to it with one install rather re-installing Wordpress over and over. Possibly wrong though.
