    Is the "website guy" overloaded?
OK basically im web/designer developer with some SEO skills and im thinking of selling VERY VERY cheap websites trough offline marketing (ie:cold calling) all USA & UK....

But recently I read this this thread
    THIS FORUM /blackhat-seo/offline-marketing/236407-damn-how-many-bhwers-my-city.html

And it does not looks like a good idea now...

So I have a few questions...
    Is this niche overloaded?
How much are the people who are doing these charging per website?

    thanx

If you are as annoying calling people as you are bumping the thread every odd hour, it is definitely not a good idea.

I'd say the best way to figure it out is by calling and seeing what you find. If it seems overcrowded.. then maybe find a niche within that niche and work on that. I would bet you could make money finding a specific niche to work on. Good luck.

Just like any other method it's not so much an overcrowding issue as much as needing to find subniches to build sites for (like the above poster was saying) that you can make work for yourself.

You won't know until you try right? It's unlikely someone making a killing with offline site sales will come into this thread and let it be known what they're doing so as to bring more competition to themselves.

Every marketing method has growing competition but what seperates the success strories from the failures is having the mindset to find your own unique angle...then running with it. ;)
