Is the "make money" niche really too saturated?

I had this idea for a personal blog about methods of making money online. It has my own twist on it, which I don't want to reveal yet for fear of killing the method.

My question is: is the "make money" niche too played out? Or is it SO big that even small timers can get some decent traffic? Note that as a noob, I DO NOT expect to rank #1 in big G for "making money" or any such keyword. I plan on doing "SEO-jacking" as Meathead1234 described in his "easy $100 a day: perfect for noobs" thread.

I plan to post it on various money making forums, on any other forum where there is a thread about making money, on Yahoo Answers in money-related questions, and maybe buy a few video testimonials from Fiverr and put them on YouTube.

Basically, it boils down to this: is there any money to be made these days in the "money making" niche?

You're still going to be able to make money off the niche. If you believe you found a great source of targeted traffic for it, go for it.

Yeah you still can make money but try doing some keyword research and figure out what stuff is untapped to increase profit i mean would you rather blog about making money? or blog about something really boring that not many people are competing over say adult diapers LOL and make ten times more.

If you've got a traffic source then it doesn't really matter if the niche is saturated.

The best way to make loads of money is to find an unique way to send targeted traffic in saturated niche. Just do it different form all the rest.

There is no saturated niche. We all want to make money by coming to BHW. It is just too hard to rank in google using SEO.

I dont believe in saturated niches. Some niches are easy, some are hard but if you work smart enough you can found a place in any niche. Depend on your motivation.

You'll make out fine. Don't ever believe in the "too saturated" myth. It's what we IMers say to get people away from our niches. You can make money, but you will have to work for it just like everyone on this forum. I believe you can do it but check out bobbylove's 2012 thread. He really does teach you about internal links and how to rank pretty damn fast. I must say what he says I have directly used on my websites with great effect.

As stated before, it's all about getting targeted traffic. Go on message boards and such to find out what people are talking about, solve some problems for them (this works in every niche), make a few cool landing pages or blogs. Set up google alert for keywords and start posting!

TIP: Don't always rely on keyword tools to find good keywords. New KW's are popping up every week and it takes some time for G to find them. So set up a few g alerts and start grinding. Good luck

i created 5 articles about "make money" i used also some long tail keywords but after months no user visited my site, only the spiders.. one site is getting 1-3 visitors a day for "make money online 2012" ... you have to find a good long tail keyword and test out... it would be easier to make some "money making tool or ebook", buy ppc and build a mailing list, then you could probably make some money.

"make money" kw saturated? I have some interesting research for you! :)

    ref.: Google.com
search for "make money" (with the surrounding quote marks)

At # 9, there is one brand new site (searched the archives.org for any past history of that site too, but obviously, with the kind of name it has, there is no past record).

It was formed in December 2011 -- read the month/year again -- yes, just 2 (two) months back. it's home page already has a PR4 -- it got that high PR well within the 2 months of formation, I guess !!!

Even its Contact page & Privacy page each has a PR3 !!!!

Alexa Rank is more than 2.4 M !!!!

Can see only about 39 pages in the site.

    ---

Now, if that site can rank for the "make money" keyword/phrase on the 1st SERP in Google.com within 1 to 2 months of formation, and can also get a PR 4 home page PR, with plenty of PR3 inner pages, then study that site and use its strategy to rank your own site much above it. :D

It's a competitive niche and it takes time and lots of work to get a decent amount of traffic. But yeah, you can make money in the niche, of course.
