    Hey!

We are currently planning on building our own blog network within the same niche (about 50 blogs), each hosted on its own webhosting package on independent webhosts. Normally we do register all domains within the same whois protected registrar and point the domains to each package. Might this be an indicator for google if it is a small to medium niche and 50 blogs do all have the same whois protected domain registrar information?

    Thanks

If you are investing into a blog network of this size I would definitely say use different domain registrars.

For the who is records I use a mixture of fake names and 'who is privacy enabled'.

Also use unique domain servers for each domain.

Variety is the spice of life. When it comes to building your own private blog network, the more variety you have the better off you'll be.

I don't think it would be an indicator by itself, but combined with other factors it could be, so to stay on the safe side I'd use different registrars.

You need not to be worried about it. As one domain registrar can have thousands of domains with protected privacy. as you all having different hosts ...so name servers would obviously be different....so just relax and go ahead...
