I'm just pondering the idea that the .com boom is about to come back for another round, especially with all these startups and apps coming out I feel like theres a strong demand for brandable domains. What are your thoughts on this guys? Would love some professional feedback. Thanks!

There is always demand of brandable domains but you should know which domain to buy.

I would agree with OP, but most "brand able" names are usually misspellings of a proper word or a word that is made up but catchy and easy to remember. This usually makes domain squatting really unpredictable and almost impossible to guess. Who would have guessed zynga, squidoo

Mostly all the right spelled domain names are taken. Have a look at domain auction sites people are fighting for brandable domains.
