Is syndicating content from my blog to Medium recommended?

Hey there,

Just noticed Medium has a content syndication feature, have you guys tried it.

Would you recommend it to give some more life to your medium profile and to drive traffic to your site?

I havent tried it but pro is you may get traffic, but con is google may rank medium higher than your site, and who knows consider your site as copied content

As long as you import your blog using Medium's import stories function, you shouldn't face any issues with duplicate content since Medium attaches a canonical tag which links back to your original post.

If you can add canonical tag in medium post then do it, else watch the ahrefs video on why they write for medium, spend 20 min on this this whole thing will be clear to you.
