Just checked my stats again and i noticed huge jumps on some of my 'not well ranking sites'...

My first page sites are still on position but i wanted to ask if you also noticed this or if it's just a serpbook glitch.

Yes something is going one. Expect a panda on Friday/Monday. Speculations say that.

There are some SERP risings, but nothing really exceptional. A Google algorithm update on Friday/Monday?

It's kinda weird how they know how big an impact to expect in the SERPs before they roll an update out. It suggests to me that they roll out an update to a small sample of sites first, and get a % change of those SERPs, then do a full rollout a few days or so later.

New panda updates are supposed to be more like a rolling update without major impacts across the web all at once. Apparently panda will be integrated into their algorithm and impact sites as they are normally analyzed.

Ehhhh. Got a major site which is experiencing slower than usual traffic today. We'll see if its the panda machine kicking it back to the curve or what. Its a Friday, so traffic is naturally slow on a Friday anyway.

A quick search and the rankings are UP but the search engine traffic is low, LOL. So there you go.

My site was slammed last week then yesterday had a huge jump back in the serps, even better than before. It stuck today as well and I'm getting more traffic than ever, so I sure hope it stays that way, haha.

Ehhh not liking this update, lol. It hit one of my websites hard by the looks of it. But just going to keep on trucking. It could easily pick up over the weekend. Who knows :)

Its like a flu. You get small symptoms like an itchy throat or tiredness before actually getting the flur virus full effects. Same apply with Google updates, you will get small symptoms before experiencing the full update

Well I spoke too soon. The traffic is pretty normal. Its a slow day, but it is perfectly normal to have a slow Friday; its far too early to tell. Just going to add fresh content, keep updating social signals, and see how it goes.

Probably a glitch I have had it before, dropped to 287 from #6,checked manually on 4 different ip's all was good,it corrected itself the following day.If you can check manually, you'll soon know then.

Most def not a glitch in the software. In the meantime i checked trough a US vps and its pretty much spot on. Also had a few dropped sites this day with +100 spots but they were no true $ sites.

My steady top spot $ sites who also survived the previous updates are still on their normal positions and the sites who went up in the ranks earlier this day are still there.

Fingers crossed for all of us... :ranger:
