Hey everyone,
Do you think repurposing existing content across platforms is more effective than constantly creating new content?
Curious to hear opinions.

If you reuse content, but that content has been edited and upgraded by you, and everything is still good, you won't have any problems. Even when creating new content, you should still refer to successful examples from the past. But creating new, unique, original content will be a more sustainable way to achieve long-term results.

Honestly, repurposing content isn’t just a lazy shortcut when done right it extends reach and saves a ton of time and effort, especially if you’ve already put work into a piece that performed well. Turning a good post into a video, infographic, or thread can help it reach audiences who prefer different formats, and you can even boost SEO by refreshing and targeting new keywords instead of always starting from scratch. Many marketers find this strategy gives better ROI than constantly creating brand new content from zero.

Hey!

I think repurposing is underrated. A good piece of content can work on multiple platforms with small tweaks, and it saves time while maximizing reach. Creating new content is great, but smart repurposing often gives better ROI.

repurposing is great for sure. convert to reels, carousels, images. test different hooks based on the platforms.

Create in bulk and re-purpose in bulk. Having one short video being re-purposed and re-uploaded in bulk won't give you the effect. But chopping up several clips out of one bigger can give you the effect. IG doesn't like if you re-upload the same thing over and over again, even with trial reels.

Constantly creating new content can burn you out
Repurposing is smarter long term

From my point of view, it's possible because my repurposing(not counting Ctrl C + Ctrl V previous content), based on customer interactions, a quote, or a customer case study, can sometimes be less stressful and lead to better customer engagement than constantly creating new content.
