The last Google march update is targetting expired domain abuse :(.

Is ranking expiring domains with restored archive content over?

Curious about your insights … .

Google core update checks on the quality of the content along with the spam or copied contents and user friendliness as a major aspect so as said by @BuildMoreLinks said it will also be penalized.

google latest core update checks on the quality of the content

with respect to the core update this strategy has risk of being penaliized.

Restoring archive content on expired domains to trick search engines likely won't be effective anymore.

It will work, depends on the type of website, number of pages, traffic before expiry, etc...

I actually just use it as a churn and burn technique to rank websites for maximum 1 year.

I am still using this strategy on a few sites and it still works, not sure how long till it stops working

I thinks it's still risky maneuver according to google latest update. you can still use with meaningful new content and prioritize a great user experience.

Whatever you gonna do, Google will find them one by one. Just like AI content it will be found sooner or later.

I don't know what happened to BHW. Where did all of these Google bootlickers come from? Yes, it will work. AI content will also continue to work if you know what you're doing.

It will work only on a small scale... You won't get far so it is pointless.

I use the same strategy and it works god for me still. No idea on when will it stop working.

This is a safe approach no worries. It may be less safe to abuse 301 but restoring and building in the same niche is solid.
