    Hi,

I am wondering that after 301 redirects to new site, can I build more backlinks on old site?

Or, after 301 redicrects to new site, can only build backlins on new site?

    Thanks guys!

You can still build links to the old site, but they will count and point to the new site. Pointless though, just build links to the new site

Let's assume that you redirected old domain to a new domain, and you find a new nice web directory to sumbit your site, it is worth the time to sumbit old and new domain name? Also it's worth to social bookmark also new and old domain name?

im asking the same question in one of my post. but no replys. i do a little in depth research, about it, apparently if your on the seo business its better to build your links on the old site you just redirected. why?

1st. its older and and can sustain massive amount of backlinks than your new site that you've redirected it too. you can blast some backlinks machine like scrapebox and xrumer.

2nd. if the client backs out, you can remove the 301 redirected site and still have your backlinks. :)

I don't know if it works, cause i just purchased my old domain last week. :) it's just my opinion. :)
