Does anyone have experience with Pinterest?

I am not talking about bh stuff.

A genuine Pinterest account with a real following drives traffic to a website I am interested in buying.

I don't have experience with Pinterest.

Is the traffic stable once you gain traction there?

Bumping this because I am curious about Pinterest as well. Never really dabbled in it so hopefully someone can chime in on this.

Well Pinterest traffic are stable but post should be adding some value & take action term should there on post.

Also you have to interact with user.

There are hundreds of heath niche site are driving millions of traffic in a month :)

I've dabbled with Pinterest in the past as some of the projects I worked on were largely tailored towards the female audience. Last time I checked Pinterest's traffic was approximately 75% female, so if you're product or service fits into that audience, it's a great place to start and the traffic can be very consistent if you put in the initial effort to create yourself an appealing account.

I don’t this so because I’m the end of the game it’s social media. I’m working mostly with traffic from socials but even today after 10 years it’s hard for me to say that traffic are stable.

I would believe it is stable and a good source of traffic. It greatly depends on the niche though. I had a website in a fashion niche, and I used to post tutorial-ish pictures that teach a certain thing. something like "how to tie a tie" all in one picture. Those used to drive lots of traffic. to the website. But I am not sure if you can convert that traffic.

I think if you have evergreen content then traffic will be stable

It's stable and actually convert very well. I'm running WH blog (actually my ex started it) with girly stuff and conversion rate is quite high.

I'm also running niche wallpaper website that slowly growing with Pinterest traffic.

But do not expect results overnight, it takes time and effort to implement.

I think its a great bonus traffic source just like Quora
Anything below 40% of overall traffic is fine

This ^, and ...

@mirrorer Yes, If you put regular content and manage the account well, the traffic REALLY comes to your site. Pinterest traffic is mostly stable and doesn't dry out soon even after the inactivity of few days / weeks. But beware that in the last 2-3 years, the organic Pinterest traffic has reduced a bit. Still I can say that you can get plenty of traffic if you put in good amount of efforts.

This guy - @vikasind wanted to sell his Pinterest account. So you can get in touch with him. May be he has a BST for this.

Disclaimer : I am in no way affiliated with him, I just tried to help you guys coz I remember he wanted to sell his account in one of the old BHW thread.

Some content related to women such as makeup, beauty, fashion, kitchen... often has a very high traffic at Pin

  • There are sometimes issues with this server, but it is generally stable

Nowadays Pinterest doesn’t work like how it used to work earlier.

I read somewhere that idea pins are not that effective and it kills your account is that true? I just want to start with regular pins it can drive traffic as well we can’t put link in idea pin right?

Idea pins are good for initial engagement. Put a lot of idea pins for a month, and see the traffic blowing up. And if idea pins have that link feature, it'll be a cherry on top. But yeah, idea pins won't kill your accounts. Post both idea pins+ normal pins and see how it works.

All the best

I get most of my traffic from Pinterest. All selling amazon affiliate marketing products.

90% standard image pins. Some idea pins but those stopped getting traffic as much as they used to. I generate lots of pins using an amazon URL with Pin Generator.

I use Pin inspector to research popular Pinterest niches and see what other pins are successful. Copy the best ones.
