I personally think paydotcom is great, It pays into your paypal account immediately which makes it alot easier to pump bACK $$$ into your campaigns.

what sort of products are you looking to sell?

I'm kinda happy with PayDotCom ..only thing I hate is that I have to pay a small fee even when the sale is not made by PaydotCom affiliates.
You may also look into Plimus.com

sex and paypal does not mix, be VERY careful
paypal shut down my account once because they
fabricated a story that I did sell something related to the
porn industry (which I didnt, as I know that paypal is
not into xxx related products and services)

I think Paydotcom is shit, poor usability and structure.

Why not just get rights to your own eproduct and selling it on a site like e-junkie.com

I tried click2sell.eu but I dont seem to attract a lot of affiliates there.
This is still a small network and they have a lot of crappy products on their index that look very amateurish.

Yeah, if someone is looking to get affiliates, click2sell is a bad choice. I just put my site on there because I had one person I knew who was going to be my main affiliate. I will be using PDC for my next site.

I'll be straight up with you guys...

You're better off getting JV Manager ver. 1 if you even think about using paydotcom.

See, PDC charges per transaction that they track for you.

They charge anywhere from $1-$3 per sale depending on how much the sale went for.

Plus, they do not give you the capability of using a JV Broker for accounting purposes.

It's good if you only have ONE product...because you have to pay $29.99 for unlimited products.

I got duped into it years ago when it was first released.

You're better off getting JVM1, because it operates just like PDC.

It even tracks JV Brokers for you, and how much you owe them for subcommissions. That way you can get a JV Broker to recruit affiliates for your product sites, and hit him/her off with a 5-10% subcommission on all sales that were referred to you by their affiliates.

    Cool, right?

Plus, it tracks your affiliate's sales, and generates 'mass pay' files for paypal, when it comes time to pay your affiliates and JV Brokers.

Also, you don't get charged per sale, because you install it on your own website.

I know someone has a link to it on here...or you could request the software on the forum.

That's my take on paydotcom. Don't get it, just get JVM1. It'll save you a LOT of wasted money.

IMHO PayDotCom BITES big time for affiliates. I had my first experiences with affiliate marketing using PDC a few months ago. I sold 5 different products. The #1 problem with PDC (unless they've changed this in the last 3 months or so, which I doubt) is that they leave it up to the vendors to pay you. The vendors collect the money directly from the customer. You get paid only WHEN THE VENDOR WANTS TO PAY YOU. PDC's terms give timeframes in which the vendors should pay you, but it was not enforced.
Only 1 out of 5 of the vendors paid me on time (around a month after the sale). 3 out of 5 of the vendors took MONTHS to pay me and only paid me after NUMEROUS complaints to PDC. And one vendor, unfortunately the one who's product I did the best with, ended up owing me over $800 and I got stiffed. :( Not a great experience for my first couple of months in the world of internet marketing. I quit for many months, stupid me.

This particular vendor had one of the HOT products on PDC. Many affiliates I talked to thought this guy was making MILLIONS on this product. I found out through PDC (his account info was accidentally in an email I got from PDC, nice huh?!) his total earnings were in the mid $x,xxx range. That tells me PDC just ain't hot. My 2 cents anyway. Stick with CB. If you make a sale with ClickBank you WILL get paid as CB collects the the money and pays you, not the vendors.

IMO the only positive thing about paydotcom is that they pay via paypal but other then that I say their basically shitty cause they have garbage products.

with pay*dot*com you get instant payments whereas with clickbank it takes more then 8 weeks to get the payment.

Also if you sell on clickbank, you have to give money back guarantee to your buyers, wheer as with pay dot com you dont need to.

    Cheers...

Click*bank check comes after month, but pay*dot*com gives you instant commision.

with Pay*dot*com, you get payment in your account and you use that amount to further promote your product or affiliate product

But with clickbank, waits tooooooo loonnnngggggggg.

I work monthly with an affiliate that uses 2click[dot]c0m. Beyond him, I haven't heard of anyone using it.

Has anyone tried it? Would IT be a good alternative to CB?

I think PayDotCom is really good... Because they verify your payment and then only they give the purchased SHIT to buyers... It's good to secure your purchase.. :)
