With these new Instagram unfollowing restrictions in place, it its sure going to be a hell of a lot harder to build a following.

    So I pose the question,

Is now the time to turn to twitter?

A lot of people moved from Twitter to Instagram not that long ago. Instagram seems to be doing better recently for people. A slight restriction shouldn't ruin that. Just adjust.

I've been doing some research and it seems pinterest is the next best bet. Anyone making money with it?

Twitter is A HELL LOT more sensitive than Instagram, and, at least for me, I never managed to grow a twitter acc as fast as an Instagram one. The new restrictions obviously suck, but we have to adapt and not let Facebook kill us yet again.

There's time for everything, the hardest part is to accept that.

the unfollowing limit has always been the same for me 100 unfollows per hour and 100 follower per hour..I follow 100 people then unfollow about 65 people and I've been doing it this way for awhile without any problems. Instagram is still fairly new since 2011 and it's a gold mine right now even I've been making money with Instagram. I think it's really dumb to jump ship and switch to twitter unless shit hits the fan with Instagram I'm staying with Instagram.

these new settings clearly demonstrate the direction instagram wants to head (remember the also made it so you can only see 120 likes per pic)... it won't be long until instagram is as useless as facebook.

i have been doing IG for 2 months now, but i dont see any change at all? what's the new limit?
just today, i follow/unfollow about 150 every time. i think i can eventually see money from IG.

i have never known how to use twitter. i dont even know where to find people to follow. all i found was endless spammers. they are like 10-page deep if i go to someone's follower list? i have a hard time not getting banned by pinterest, and i personally dont like the way pinterest works.

I am starting to like Pinterest and I am using FollowLiker to build my following. Fortunately, I haven't been temp banned yet. But I am having a hard time with Instagram now. I just got temp blocked from unfollowing as well. I am going to do it manually for now and will only do 10 unfollows per hour. Ugh.

As for Twitter, all I see there are spam and fake accounts.

Instagram is still king, i dont know why you would possibly think to move to twitter.. Instagram traffic is far more valuable.

More users. Greater statistics in usage. Easier to market to consumers. Instagram has trumped twitter for a while now.

Its true that IG traffic is way more valuable and easier to convert, but twitter are good for website traffic. IG is more for CPA & E-Commerce generally.
