I'm not even sure its useful for music, I myself am a musician, and if you look at the activity on most bands, its been over a year since their last interaction with a fan. I would say its completely dead. I heard there's only like 5 people that work for myspace now.

I've been running a record label for a while now and myspace is on its last legs. Though there is still a decent amount of traffic it is dieing fast. Whilst sites like soundcloud are only getting stronger.
I actually closed our myspace account as it just was not getting any kind of numbers like on soundcloud and youtube

By the time that I got into the online marketing game, Myspace was already dead, and since facebook has opened its door to users of the world, I do not see Myspace making a come back anytime soon.

I am sure you can always find your niches that happen to do quite well on myspace, but I would probably spend a majority of your time on the Facebooks and Twitters of you campaign.. Just makes more sense in my book.

Myspace is definitely still a viable platform for PPC campaigns.. Obviously, POF and Facebook have a higher amount of users and more targetted but you can still get good traffic off myspace.

Myspace is still good but, as we all know, most of us use facebook and twitter and more but, yes, Myspace can still be a great help.
