Hi, I am a BH seo newbie.

I set up a wordpress site with tens of thousands of posts last week. There's no any BH techniques done on the site. I just hired a social bookmarking service to get about 100 backlinks.

After two or three days of the social bookmarking service, google indexed my site and I got about 200-300 visitors a day from google. I use site:mysite.com to check and found about 2000+ pages are indexed in google.

I then put some adsense on every page of the site. Then I start to see googlemedia bot coming in. It's normal.

However, today, I get almost no visitor. I check site:mysite.com again and found only my homepage there. (It was 2000+ indexed page yesterday!)

Am I penalized by google? de-indexed or sandboxed? possible reason?

Same thing happened to my new website a month ago but then it all came back in a couple of days .. however my site never seen the first page ever since

I just talked to another BHW member. give it 3 days and post back. Your probably sandboxed.

Could be all or none. Since you said you are a newbie, the first lesson is Google changes things up often. You need to wait and watch how things progress over time and not panic at every fluctuation.

Thats true google changes like the wind. Its really hard to explain just dont panic like java said.

Wait couple of days they will get back this is the way that google acts with new sites ...

Like everyone said, you have to wait. I did that few months back and google didn't penalize me. Indexing new sites takes time.

somehow Google doesnt like in your face above the folds adsense ads. but i'm guessing its all not true since I still got some pages ranking high

Could be simply different Google data centers. One/some have 2,000 pages indexed and other Google data centers have less/none.

Is this the funny quote of the day? :D

Setting up a site with 10000 posts is black hat
Using a social bookmarking service to get backlinks is black hat

Welcome to the dark side:)

Basically you've done everything you can to get your site noticed as suspicious, short of making a banner with your url and standing outside Google HQ waving it.

It's possible that you may be banned, or the site may bounce back a little, but the chance of getting a lot of pages re-indexed quickly is small. It all depends on the age of the site, it's previous history, the quality of any backlinks.

Hey, I do this myself from time to time, sometimes sites get banned quickly, sometimes they make a little money first, on rare occasions they stick and keep making money for a while. Don't get discouraged, the thing is to keep trying different things, keep new things coming along, research for ideas..

I'm with scriptkiddy on this one.
Google knows it's very unlikely a brand new site is going to start up with thousands of pages of quality, unique content plus a sudden rush of backlinks. Red flags have gone up and you've likely been dropped on a list for review. Doesn't always happen, of course, but the more unnatural your new site seems, the more likely it'll get knocked back in the serps, at least temporarily.
In my experience for longer and more stable serps results, build your content over time and the same for backlinks. Looks more natural and organic. If you continue adding content an quality backlinks, your site should reappear.

welcome to the google wonder land...wish i cud come up with logical objective answer....pm me your URL and i will let you know the exact subjective answer:)

If you have good unique contents, add them day by day like 4-5 posts per day and keep getting backlinks in a slow rate.. always be smart, don't become suspicious..

Quick Rise... Quick Fall

yo try taking out the adsense code from ur site for 3 days and see how things turn out.
I did a bh seo on a blog not long ago and i did what i mentioned above, part of my deindexed pages come back to live:) not sure whether it pure luck.

You'll want your site to see a natural progression in traffic. It can be fast but it has to grow gradually. If you have a bookmarking company slam out 1000 in a few days it looks to google like your trying to setup a quick sales/slam site.

Read this to learn more about how to avoid this happening.

Note: Google also shifts stuff around a lot, a lot of times I can refresh my google search and see my website jumping around on the page into various slots 1-10.

Yea, happened to me last night. Spent 4 days getting a site up to number 5 for a keyword with 10.8million in the search index and then it was pulled.

bastards..

:D

Oh well - smarter quicker, smarter quicker, smarter quicker...heh

Welcome to Black Hat World.....

best,

Yes, after two days, my this site is re-indexed by google. Actually, I didn't see googlebot coming back. However, pages are just re-appear in google and traffic, too.

It's a great day today.
