I am seeing something weird on my G analytics.

    http://prntscr.com/5g4yno

What does this language C mean? I am getting a lot of bounced visits from this in past two days and this language C seems weird to me. All these visits are from Beijing, China.

Attacked, doubt it. What happens if you click it? Can you see details?

just a guess, but probably bots/scrapers...check to see if your content is being duplicated anywhere

    that's a very good guess

c is the default language for linux scripts.

@op it's not an attack per se but they might be stealing your content
sidenote: most linux scripts don't have javascript support(they don't show up in analytics), it might be someone emulating real browsers... you should take a deeper look into what pages those visitors go to

Yes probably someone is trying to steal your content. You should block the IPs that the bots are coming from.

It means they have no idea what language it is. Wouldn't worry about it. If you were getting attacked you would know it.

Probably someone spamming your site with bots. Happened to me before and the site went down for a few days for security measures. But I got like 10,000's of fake hits.

I just noticed that there were about 500 new registrations on the forum with weird names and loads of spamming. How would you advise me to block this bot traffic?
