Is my Facebook account monetised?

My account is relatively new, just been about a month since I started, and I have the earning tab. What does this mean? Can anyone explain it?

Don’t misunderstand that the Earnings tab appears as an account that has earned money. This tab is usually only displayed when the account is considered to have potential or is under system review. Please note that this may just be a suggestion. To officially earn money from your Facebook account, you must follow and complete all specific instructions.

Seeing the Earnings tab is a sign you might be eligible, but it doesn’t guarantee monetization is fully enabled. Meta often tests features, so it can show up and disappear.
That’s interesting I’ve seen a few people mention similar glitches lately. Sounds like Meta is rolling things out unevenly. Have you noticed any consistent earnings or was it just that one post?

Hey man, yeah IG/FB does that sometimes — they invite you, then the option disappears like nothing happened. Seen it a bunch. The “earnings” tab on FB posts doesn’t always mean you’re monetized tho. Some pages get the tab by default just to show insights.

- go to Meta Creator/Professional Dashboard → Monetization → look for “Eligible”
- check Reels Play, Ads on Reels, In-Stream Ads status
- try posting a Reel and see if it shows the $$ toggle

This is actually pretty normal. Sometimes Meta shows the Partner Program invite and removes it while they double-check eligibility. The earnings tab means you're still being reviewed, so you didn’t lose your chance. Just keep posting normally — if your account stays healthy, the invite usually comes back on its own.
