Is My Channel Shadow Banned?

Hi guys,

Just wondering why my videos don't even get impressions or views? Should YouTube not at least test my videos on a small audience before determining whether or not to give my videos views?

However, I'm literally getting max 2 views on my videos.

Meanwhile, I can find a brand new channel in the same niche (with way worse editing btw + bad AI voice) with much more views.



Am I shadow banned?

Would it help to create a new channel on my phone's 3G IP? But what about the fingerprints on my laptop then?

Or what about buying an aged YouTube channel? Or is this a stupid idea?

I'm just super confused honestly.

Is the channel only 1 week old? That's why.

No they absolutely don’t. It’s very rare to have a channel 1 week old or even older to get views. Your first videos will have 0 views until YouTube picks them up

you may not be necessarily shadowbanned, but from the looks of it and what's being discussed here by other people, your channel maybe recent and with a few uploads.
for 1 week or so you could be in a "sandbox" which google uses to protect the platform from spammers.
upload more videos and wait a few weeks to a month before concluding.

You need to boost your channel.

Promote your channel yourself to see if YouTube will help recommend it.

When you have posted 100 videos, then one video can go viral. Not in first week.

I think they mean buying views. You shouldn’t buy views if you want a sustainable channel

Your channel is new tho it needs more time and consistency.Focus on adding high quality content well edited .Work on keyword strategy, use low competitive keywords with high search volume for that you can use vid IQ or other tools.Promote your channel and videos on other social media platforms.

How old is the channel ? If the channel is new, it can time because YouTube favors authority channels more.

New channels usually take time to enter the suggestions algo, you need to actively and consistently upload videos, start uploading shorts for faster blowups. Make sure your content is decent enough too. If nothing works, delete the videos from this channel and save them in your folder and create a new youtube channel and upload these videos there.

We have created some channels that got 0-100 views for maybe more than a month, we simply deleted the videos and uploaded it in a new channel and it worked fine.

But won’t YouTube recognize that it’s the exact same video that’s been uploaded to a new Channel? Or maybe they dont Care about that?

It’s interesting though - in my niche, there are people who have channels 1-3 months old that are getting millions of views per video. And when I look back to their first 1-3 videos, even those have 100.000+ views. Any idea how that’s possible?

Do you upload videos through proxies on your channel?

It is normal for new channels. You should keep uploading videos and improve the quality with each video. Slowly subscribers will come on channel.
