Dunno but at this point my over-bloated blogs hosted in virtual accounts seem far more stable than BHW .... just sayin....

I am having the same problems. I come to the site about 3 times a day.. and on average once a week I cannot access it for an hour or more at a time.

If you search hard enough, there is a few posts about upgrades to the server, so you can kind of piece together what BHW is running on if you really want :) Which I can assure you, it isn't a shared plan from hostgator :p

Forums in themselves I think are fairly heavy to run, add onto that the shear size of BHW, and you get why there is a bit of downtime. From memory, I think we are maxed out on a single server, so we may need to get multiple servers etc. Could be wrong, just remembering a post way back from Havok stating how much RAM the server had.

Did I say anything about "not coming to the forum anymore?" - Gee dude pull your horses!/Take a chillpill :tapedshut- I said it was hard to access lately because in the last 3 days it has been down quite often.

I hope u guys understand my sarcasm, because it is obvious that BHW is not hosted in a virtual acc, I mean that is something that anyone who has ever dealt with SQL DBs (which hopefully is most of us) knows about.

The thing is that it is so incredibly annoying that when u are reading an interesting piece of info you can't continue reading the thread because the thing is down at crucial times. But as Pyro just informed us.... the forum is undergoing upgrades

    I'm with tacopalypse,

BHW does go down for 1-2 hours a day around 1AM eastern, but you say you've been only able to access it 1 hours the past 2 days? That's crazy.

Maybe your proxy, if you're using one, is blocking BHW.com servers for some reason.

Hope you get everything worked out! :)

I recall one of the mods saying that was when the servers go through a nightly backup.

I know if I'm trolling around at 12PM my time, the site will give me a 503 error without fail.
