It seems you did some kind of campaign the last day. This will often lead to higher bounce rate. Except for the last day it seems your bounce rate is about 50% which is generally acceptable.

For a better reference it would be usefull to filter out the first few days when the site went up, you clearly visited it a lots yourself, this will make the data incorrect. Also have a look at the bounce rate for different traffic sources.

I agree with you.. 50% or Less Bounce Rate is Better for any Site.. Try to keep less than 30%.. Make Attractive Landing Page, Create some Interesting Headline and you can get Good Bounce Rate..

    lukeSzmig,

It's hard to say whether this bounce rate is bad or good without more information. This metric in analytics is not always a sign that your content is not engaging or the site not well designed. For example if your site only has one page, the bounce rate metric is useless.

Also, bounce rates vary from industry to industry. For instance a standard bounce rate for an ecommerce site selling cell phones may be far different from that of furniture store. I would try and do some benchmarking. Look for information on sites in your niche and try and establish what an acceptable bounce rate is for those sites so you aren't comparing apples to oranges.

You may also find that bounce rate is not a good metric for you to gauge your success. Instead you might look at time on site or some other metric that could clue you in to how effective the property is at keeping people there.

Here is a pretty comprehensive post on bounce rate and evaluating it,

    Hope that helps you,

    Shawn

I think as you shown in image. you website's bounce rate is +60%. So it's kind of bad for your people... The less % bounce rate your website is having, the more % of good your website is.... Try it keep it low.. It means people are coming on to your website but just leaving within 10 seconds.. try to improve it by adding some good stuff. like user friendly things... :).. let me know if you need any help.. i will do it at my best. :)

    What's it for?

It's GREAT if it's a sales page, but not so good if it's an authority site.

How're your site load times? Improving that really helps the bounce. Test out different designs, colors, use different interlinking strategies. Reach out to your audience and get some feed back. Test test test until you dial it in.

Its a good bounce rate, if your site's PR is 4+ and ranking is also good then its not good for you, you need to add more stuff with attractive images as well as makes your website theme more attractive and user friendly.

As has been mentioned, it all depends on the type of site & source of the traffic. 68% bounce rate would be awesome if it was social media traffic sent to a sales page, the same figure would be atrocious if it was search engine traffic sent to a niche site.
