    Is the meta tag "robots" still needed if I have a robots.txt file, also are the other two meta tags needed at all??
    Code:
       	 	 	 	 	 	  <meta name="robots" content= "index,follow,all">
    <meta name="author" content= "really good keywords" >
    <meta name="revisit-after" content= "7 days">

    You can still use the meta robots in case you want to block/allow robot which is not in the robots.txt. As for the other two meta tags, I've never used them so dunno

    index,follow is the default setting, so no need to use that tag at all.
