Is it worth to rank for 200 searches with $8 cpc

I know people who write articles usually go for a minimum of 500 searches for a keyword.

But what if I can find keywords with only 200 searches a month but with as high as $8 cpc that are easy to rank for. Is it worth my time?

sure i guess.. make a small article and let it rank naturally, shouldn't take much.

so it equates to ranking to something with over 1000/searches with normal or low cpc?

No harm trying but does your keyword contain buying intention? I normally go for higher volume searches and a decent CPC by the way.

$8 is a decent CPC I would say. But you may want to try to get a higher search volume keyword. Remember to take into consideration that a small fraction of the search volume will be clicking on your ads only.

No it is not worth it.

Just because the CPC is $8 doesn't mean that the ads shown on your site will be the same.

gyuman is right, you wont get 8$ you'll probably still get only a dollar

Definitely not. I suggest you go with 5k+ keywords.

I dont think so, it depends on the competition the keyword for very competitive it will need good links.

No way because you have to think how well targeted your traffic is going to your website
which will heavily determine your conversion rates. Like others previously said no point in
banking on $8 CPC for 200 searches.
