Is it worth it?

Hi,

how do you see if it is worth it to dominate for some keyword? I mean if I start a new project and want to rank for specific keywords, I should check first if it will be easy to rank, I dont want to spend all my life to get my site to the top...

* I played a little bit with "Seonuke", and it tells you if you can dominate easily for a keyword by entering "allintitle:keyword". -> If there are less "allintitle" sites, it could be easy to dominate.

* The second thing I should check if there are some authority sites in the index..

If there are just few (allintitle) sites, how can I do it better and get to the top? Backlinks?

Any other Ideas? Thanks

create web 2.0 sites with good quality, relevant, keyword optimized content and anchor text link them to your site and then go into ******** blogs and forums and link to the web 2.0 sites can get to the top most of the time... if that's what your asking?

Is it worth it?...

That just depends on how much time, money, and effort you want to put into it.
I personally start with the linked wheel plan for back links.
But getting to the top of Google is only part of it...
You might want to also consider other means of traffic generation.

I've had success quickly with linkwheels, just do a search here for it.
