I have finally started a new site for my offline business and I do not want to get hit with a penalty ever again. Had to change my business name and everything. A real pain in the ass. Tier 1 is going to be super high quality. Should I just leave it at that or hit the tier 1 with scrapebox/GSA/xrummer? Is there any chance that using those on tier 2 will penalize me? Is the risk reward worth it? Has anyone here ever been penalized for their tier 2 links? Thanks!

After Penguin 2.1 Last update, I suggest to be careful about 1st tier.

What can happen? You can always deindex these links if something goes wrong.

As the tier 1 is quality, I don't think there should be any problen with you blasting your tier 1 with backlinks.

Hi, I prefer using authority links in the Tier 2 Links too. Using Crappy links in Tier 2 Will lower the value of your 1st Tier Links.. So, Go for same quality links in Tier 2.

tier 1 links should be quality links and more robust to being blasted by spammy links... but tread with caution nonetheless.

If your site is new and doesn't have a domain authority score over 40 I would stay away from this tactic.

Exactly. Never understood this tiered spam backlink concept...

If I were to send shit spam links at my money site it will be hit with a penalty. But if I send shit spam links to my quality tier 1 links some how that will boost it?

If you keep stacking shit on shit guess what.. it's still all SHIT.

Just go 2 tiers and make it all high quality bro. You don't have to do it all manually but keep it HQ. That's my 2c at least.

I have started using this for my tier two http://www.rankwyz.com, I personally use the rest of the crap for tier three or four

Having a clean and good tier1 will help in the long run. Blasting ther tier1 will not be a problem, But you can choose more good list to get some linkjuice. Also, diversify the links more.

Unless you are building a churn and burn site never spam
your tier one link structure. Instead add high quality content
    and make it look legit.
