Hey guys, I have an account at a very reputable CPA network but it got disabled for inactivity. I plan on reopening it and doing "FREE IPAD(IPOD/MACBOOK/PRODUCT EVERYONE WANTS)" site but not actually give anything.

Should I be honest and tell them what I'm doing or make up some fake bullshit ebook or something and make a blogger with a download link to a really new/unknown ebook and then put CPA ads on that once it's approved but not really do anything with it?

    Thanks,

make up fake something then do your offer later. u be fine. They don't go approve very site you add it would take them forever.

You can add as many sites or sales strategies as you want. Is up to you.

Years of IM I have yet to figure out why people feel that they need to hide from their networks. As long as you are bringing them real users who are filling out their CPA ads in hopes of getting what is offered in the CPA offer you are fine. You are bringing them exactly what there advertisers are looking for.

That is very ideal for someone looking for a free iPad to fill out a free iPad offer. Where is the needing to hide part coming from?

I'm just thinking they might find out that I'm not doing anything and they might get all white-knighty on me and shut me down. I could just say I'll do the ipad sending after the person refers X number of people and then have a random fake refer link that the count doesn't actually go up on. Alright, I got a plan.

It's coming from a need on the part of the affiliate to protect his or her investment. If an affiliate is making a substantial amount of money, the last thing that he or she wants is anyone (like an affiliate manager or an advertiser) stealing landing pages, traffic sources, banner ads, etc. This is why people blank or fake their referrers. Once an advertiser figures out how you're making all this money, they don't need you anymore. You could get pulled from the offer on the grounds that you were sending "fraudulent traffic" or some such, when in fact all you were doing was "bringing them exactly what [they] are looking for" in a legitimate manner.

In an ideal world, everyone would be honest and respectful and not try to screw other people over, but CPA is a cutthroat industry, like many others. Openly sharing your landing pages, profitable keywords, etc. can jeopardize your business.
