What is the likelihood of getting your page banned? It is a corporate site so I am just tryig to be extra careful. Could you please share your experience? cheers xx

    Dienummer,
I would say that the question of whether its worth it or not depends on your goals for getting fans. For example if your goal is to inflate the number of likes in order to sell the page for a higher price, maybe it is worth it. Conversely, if your goal is to grow the network so that there are more followers to engage with the content you publish, then it would not be worth it because fake likes are usually from accounts that are set up just to produce a like or they are generated by special scripts and not real users.

I'm not sure about the likelihood of the page getting banned but I have read around the web that Facebook is cracking down on things like this. If you are doing this for someone else, you should probably keep it on the up and up and not destroy their page. That's just my opinion though.

    Best,

    Shawn

I always think just getting like 400 fake fans from Fiverr is a nice way to 'start up' your page.

Most importantly before buying check the likes stick rate, the higher the better. Some time ago I've bought 1000 likes from fiverr and in 2 days there were about 100+ likes left.

If you are just starting out from 0 fans, 100% yes. No one likes to be the first to like a page with no fans at all.

Just purchase 200 fans from Fiverr and get the ball rolling.

It's a good idea to kick off your Facebook page, because starting from the ground is tough. If people will see that a page has some likes (+1000 likes was said above), there is a higher probability they will like your page more than if your page has just 30 likes.

That's for what are fake likes appropriate.

I have bought tons of likes on Facebook, never got banned.
Curious, will amount of Like increase your social signal?

If you buy a low amount and from a respected source then the likelihood of getting banned is obviously going to be significantly less.

I think the more relevant question is, however, what are you trying to achieve from gaining these faux followers to begin with?

Is it to convince the corporate organization that you're a social media whiz? Do they know that you're planning on buying these fans or are they hoping you can build a legitimate following for them on Facebook?

actually its contraproductive. Its all about the edge rank of bookface, which is made up of (simplified) the ratio of likes/people talking about this.

Pro Facebook agencies try to have more people talking about this then likes! So they have high edge rank. If anything pay people who don't interact with your brand to unlike it.

Other than self-deception I don't see any good fake likes can do for you.

I make a page for nearly all my websites, I always buy fake likes so they look good on the website widget. Never had one page banned.
