I'm considering approaching some channel owners with an opportunity lease (old method I know)
'link space' for a small fee. I figure i'll test it by the week initially and if I get good traffic i'll offer a monthly payment and/or buy the video or channel for that matter.

Fearing YouTube might have an issue with this, my question is this a bit risky to proposition in the first place?

I guess I can proposition them from an account I don't care about.

Any helpful feedback would be great.

    Thanks!

    this is a great method.

Just because it has been around for years doesn't mean it is any less effective seeing that there are tonnes more accounts and thus opportunites to be had!

YouTube wouldnt have any problem with this as long as it is not a "make money on youtube" product that you are promoting. You should target IM'ers as they would be more open to it than the average Joe who might think it to be some sort of scam.

    Go get em tiger...
