I am totally a beginner. I just read What is Backlink from Wiki. So you can figure, I have almost zero knowledge of it.

https:/DOT/DOTwwwDOTmii.uclaDOTedu/members/1147/blog/2015/12/just-read-the-review-of-the-revenant-movie
(Remove DOT. It's not my site. Nor I get any benefit from it. Its just to learn)

Please check the article. What I did was spin the article and publish it on the blog. I have placed links to my site and to my post on the first line. Is it link building? Is this a backlink?

I can post your article on the site too. Just help me out. Thank you.

link is not working .... ucla dies not know that page

Yeah that is link building.

I don't know how good it is since im to lazy to go to the url lol

Well, yes it is link building. Whether it is correct way or not depends on how you do it. If you create links from duplicate content or content that do not pass human reviews, it is definitely not a correct way to build links.

Thank you. I will make sure the content is unique from now onwards.

That looks fine.

Create more unique and creative content for your blogs and use keywords of your website.

Its hard to say whats the correct way or not, the only way to see what is the correct way is to continue building and make your own conclusions on what happens whit diffrent types of links. The more you build the more you will understand and going forward.

Keep up the work :)

I think spinning is also effective as long as you write the original content. I have been doing that. I have several WP blogs and I write two to three original article and spin them.

I'm trying to avoid spinning, some websites received sanctions for content...
