Is it safe to host a web directory on the same hosting account as your money sites?

I just bought a PR2 web directory, and I was wondering if it would be worth the extra effort to host it on a different hosting account than my main one (which houses my main money sites).

I'm thinking in case Google classifies web directories as being spammy, I don't want it to be associated with my other sites.

Does that make any sense or am I talking crazy talk?

Just as an update, I ended up hosting the web directory on the same account as my other sites and I didn't see any significant effect on the traffic to my other sites.

Do you have shared hosting? If so, other people could be hosting directories and goodness knows what else, so it won't make a difference. If it's dedicated, then Google can figure it out easier, but as long as you're not spamming backlinks to your own sites, it will be fine. Glad it's working for you.
