Is it really a bad idea to buy PBN domains all from godaddy?

I just purchased 5 great domains in my niche from godaddy auction and premier accounts. The metrics are not bad but the backlinks are all related to my niche. I did have options to purchase other domains with loads of backlinks, but almost all backlinks have nothing to do with my niche.

I read countless blogs on how you should use different registers to avoid foot prints. Is this pure speculation? I plan to do private whois and find decent VPS host (different data center) for each domain.

Has anyone else built a PBN using just one register without any long term issues?

You can still transfer it and register it at separate registrars

Very true, seems like an easy solution :) I might as well try that.

Move them as soon as you can. Good that you got them in your niche. I've stopped recommending PBNs in my business though, but you can turn them over.

Godaddy is the definition of cancer. They took away my domains for no reason so many times

They always come up with some bullshit reason. To this day I still don't know why

It's fine if it's a small network as long as you get privacy on all of your domains.

I wouldn't keep any domains at Godaddy or Namecheap. They suspend domains with one abuse.

Your fine with 5 domains. Its when you get into 50+ that you start getting worried.

At that point I would spread everything around different registrars, or use different registration info.

PS: Whois protection does NOT hide your data from google. They are a registrar themselves, and thus can see behind the Whois protection.
