I have been testing Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11 and it seems it's very well (even better than I expected, it's worth buying definitely) but is it possible to make the DNS write into notepad while I surf the web, make research on the product etc.

I wanted to go around and ocassionally write down information I found, but I must click on the notepad window first in order to let it write.. Anyone ?

    Shanna_doll,

It appears that you can toggle back and forth from having DNS capture text whether you want it to capture text for the window in the foreground or in the background.

    From the DNS manual

"An administrative setting for using the Dictation Box in unknown text fields. When the Dictation Box is unanchored, to capture text it must be either the active, visible window in the
foreground with the cursor placed there, or, when it is not visible, you must use Hidden
    Mode."

    Here is the manual online,

    Hope that helps,

    Shawn
