    Hi,

You know this question is about Twitter.

I have followed about 900 people about a week ago. But only ~100 of them followed me back.

So I have about 800 people who are not following me. Is it possible to unfallow them just by one click?

I think in this service, I have to click to users who are not following me and this is waste of time?

I recomend Twitter karma as a free alternative.
You dont need to click every single user, just look towards the top, there is a drop down that give you the options, such as displaying only following, display follow you.

Ons you have the ones you want ( people i am following but they no follow back), then you select all and click Bilk unfollow.

You could ofcourse use Hummingbird, i think that is the best for auto follow unfollow -- where to get it --- Search for it in BHW

LOCALHOST, I think u should not just sit only on formal twitting. If you really want lot of people to follow you, use alternative way. Already some people advice you about it. Just follow this technique.

I use a free software called Tweetie which does exactly what you want.

Desktop Software that has unfollow features:

    Tweet Adder $55 (1 profile) - $188 (unlimited profiles)
Lively Browser Plus Twitter FriendAdder - $50 (unlimited profiles)

Although Twitter suspended 10 of my active slow-built accounts this month - their reason: "Aggressively following and unfollowing accounts".. however I only added approx 20 per account per day and unfollowed slowly (via Twitter FriendAdder which lets you set "human natural times") every 3-4 weeks. I was really nervous about using the software so I was really trying to be completely natural with my usage. I didn't spam these accounts, these were legitimately looked after.. ie: I didn't even post every week to some of them, and never CPA offers or anything.. just replies to people, the occasional blog post or youtube video and RT.. the only thing all of the accounts had in common is that I used Twitter Phoenix to follow my targetted niche and unfollowed people that didn't follow me automatically using TweetAdder or TwitterFriendAdder.

Maximum I would've followed 40 or so on some days, depending on the day, but never over 40.. and people were following 200 or more.. so I thought 20-40 was a safe number.

I'm awaiting on responses back from Twitter as to whether using software to do the adding/removing was the real cause of the suspension, or the fact that I unfollowed everyone that wasn't following me was the real cause. Once I know how they are playing the game, I can adjust my methods accordingly.

I'm going to try out Tweetie now.

People who manage a lot of accounts need software to help them, especially consultants that manage a lot of clients' social media accounts - if I had to keyword search and manually add everyone to each of their accounts - I wouldn't have time to actually do the work that the clients "count" as work.

All of my suspended accounts have now been re-enabled:

I'm still unclear whether it was because I occassionally referenced another tweet from another twitter account, or whether it was the unfollow software. I suspect it was a bit of both, as when you remove people, in your next "keyword search" for people to follow, you may re-follow the same people you just removed.. if the software could "remember" who it unfollowed.. so that it never re-follows the same people, then we'd be on a winner.

Tested Tweetie, seems really fast, like so fast you want to know if it actually did anything.. "Whack. Done." eh? And noticed no changes on my profiles - maybe I had already unfollowed everyone that wasn't following me though :\

The lively browser plus Twitter friendadder software removes people slowly.. in the background and for multiple accounts.

Oh, maybe I've found it.. just read the urls they sent me.. and this one states you can't automatically follow or unfollow:
