I bought an ecommerce store, and the pixel is very mature on FB. Over $50k spent in it. Apparently, facebook does not offer a way to 100% transfer ad account from one business manager to another. Are there any tricks to making this work?

For now, I am operating with the ad account under my business manager and as the sole person with rights. However, the original owner could technically add them self at any point if they felt like it given the ad account is still associated with them.

You need Admin rights in this particular Ads Manager and access to the related e-Mail otherwise you have no chance to transport it anywhere.

I have admin rights and my email is on the ad account and page asset. What should I do next? I need to move it from their business manager to mine permanently. I currently have access via my BM, but so does the previous owner.

You can move pages but not ad accounts, that I know of.

My current solution is to add a second pixel using an app like Trackify, and let it mature for a few months then switch over. I need to find a way to destroy all previous campaigns in case previous owner decides to try to reactivate. My thought is just to change all targets and bug the campaigns so can't be replicated since FB doesnt allow permanent deletion.

    1 min .

    why ?

are you in confliclt of the fb ads campain business owner.

when you got the account fb management account it was 3rd party guessing , know you want to go solo.

just ask the fb ads manger to tranfer to a solo account and take you off his/her books

might cost but your be solo

when with a service for ads it ok but as you grow you fill should leave but if you leve and fuck the ads account up your fucked make sure it what you want be verry sure .

if sure contact the ads account provider .

know you do everythink they done , if ready go for it .

    other option.
, ┬░Get a contact stating it your fb account and there only doing ads thu the ads management platform and dont own my fb account in any way.

this will protect your arse in court.

dont need a fb account mangement trying to still your setup be wise

This is possible. It is a pain in the a$$, but possible. You will need to go into the business manger that owns the ad account now and remove the account make sure that you have the account info thought as you will need the account number to add it back. Now wait about 10 minutes and go into the other business manager go to settings ad accounts and click add. Then type the number of the ad account and click okay.

By the way facebook support can help as they where the ones that assisted me the first time.

If you want to test it just create two business manager accounts under the same main account. Then create and add account on one. Delete it and then import it on the other.

    Hope that helps.
