    Hello,

I have a software that only support private proxies, and I don't have enough money to buy private proxies, I want to use public proxies, is it possible to add something like - ip : port:something:something so that it works with the software ? What should I put in "something" so it works.

    Thanks

This can be done ONLY if you have access to the server and authorized to change the settings. Something:something is nothing but the login credentials(Username: password) which you supply to private proxies so that server can verify your identity. If you an authorized person, the server will let you access the proxy service.

Public proxy is just the opposite. The server is knowingly or unknowingly configured as open proxy where anyone from anywhere can access it to process their request. No authorization required!
