About a month ago I started a personal blog about the development where I live, because the company that manages the building pissed me off - it's a very long story. The website is a bona fide blog, with no ads, I add about 1 page a week (with photos and youtube videos) and the keyword I wanted to rank is the name of the development (building) where I live. It still gets about 1000 searches a month - mostly from people who want to buy or rent a flat there. The competition is a wikipedia page, managing company blog (where they say how brilliant they are) and resident's association forum - the rest is some random websites that never intended to rank but ended up on 1st page somehow). They've kicked me out of the forum because I expressed my dissatisfaction about the management company - they said they believe in a free speach but I should go and express my views elsewhere. They obviously didn't realise they've just messed with the wrong guy...

Total competition for that keyword (three words) is about 100k pages. The domain name doesn't have the keyword in it, just the abbreviation of the name of the development and a word suggesting that it is not a nice place to live.

Website is optimised for keywords in title, metadescription and metakeywords (not that it matters, but you get your keywords in bold when people search for that).

I did some manual high PR SB commenting - not a lot, maybe 20 blogs, it's a new domain name, didn't want to overcook it. Then wrote three articles (one is actually a wikipedia page I "borrowed"), spinned 100 times and used AMR to schedule about 75 submissions a day for the last 3 weeks. That's a lot of quality do follow backlinks - some articles ranked higher that the website. Then I gathered all approved articles and went ballistic on them with SB - must have commented on about 50k blogs rotating the approved articles as a backlink.

Result - after less than a month, the website is in 7th position on first page of G00g13. Therefore, the answer to a question: can you get ranked in 10 days for a non-competitive keyword is YES YOU CAN!

You definitely can. If the keyword is really low competition, a scrapebox blast or a xrumer blast will be enough to bring it to the first page. However, it will only last a week or two and then go into a dance before settling on first page.

For you to be settled, it will take about a couple of months or so. Just my experience.

My low competition sites usually rank in 9 or 10 days, but sometimes take as long as 3 weeks.

My default mode is a UAW article at 25/day and Linklicious'd forum profiles at 25/day. I don't dance and only pop up in the rankings, plus at that rate I'll build links for at least two months on autopilot.

Yes, it's possible, although there's a bunch of factors that determine whether the page will be in top 10 or not. Other thing is what you mean by low competition ? : ) Is it 10k or 100k pages competition ? But according to OP, yes , definitely. Sometimes I'm able to rank top 5 within 2-3 days.

Yes you can if you get a good domain and you really know that it is non competitive. I have done it with just under 100 domains.
