Is it possible to for me to join some network so that I can monetize some of my videos (re-used content)?

I've only heard about gaming youtube network that you can join to monetize your vids but my niche is not gaming.

You can try copyright claiming your own videos with a music distributor that provides Content ID

The drawback of copy claiming is that Ads only appear after your video has reached 10 000 views. And even then those are the very basic clickable banner ads below the video. If the content on the other hand is really good and people are going to watch it then go ahead.

wow if thats true then that really sucks.
I'm just going to contine with my channel and when it gets demonetized i'll just remove the videos and start over

I can confirm what Kaposts said is true. Your channel also has to meet the 1k subscriber and 4k watch time requirements in order for those preroll /midroll ads to appear.

Another factor to think about is what country those views come from because even with content id not all views are equal. So if you're getting 10k+ views but a majority of them are from India for example, you will hardly earn any money from it especially since content ID CPM is already low.

I mean, if you don't have 1k subs and 4k watch hours you probably aren't going to make much money anyway.

fwiw I just double checked and a video I posted yesterday that I monetized with a claim has a banner ad on it and it hasn't even hit 1k views yet. but yeah they usually don't get pre-rolls until they really get going. part of that is just a function of how youtube sells ads, videos that are new and trending will always sell more ads, that's more important than a view count.

Just don't join MCN, they take ur money and do nothing for your channel.

not true, if u join good mcns, u can easily monetize re used content and also get higher cpms in many cases, so despite their cuts and yt cuts, the money i earn is still much more with an MCN and that too being protected from demonetization.

like example music 24/7 radio channel.
living on re used content lol. passive income and no demonetizations

So what MCN do you recommend? I'm really curious about this, so if you would like to share this, please send me a DM.

You have a point. I was just talking from my experience but since I never ran these kind of channels, I was wrong.
