Is it possible to find out the revenue and profit of an online business?

The site I want to get data about is iwriter.com. I searched online about this but there is no data. On the official site, there is information about total articles written per date on the site and using this and average profit per article, we can estimate the data. But I do not find it the data credible. Is there some way to find official data regarding this which is verified?

It was a part of a company but I think now owned by a different company because they made a lot of changes in operation.

you really can't, there are sites that tell you the value, but they are wildly off the mark

There's no official way. You could try digging into their financials somehow, calling employees, asking around, trying to find linkedin profiles, estimating traffic and so on. That's what some due diligence attorneys and brokers do when doing valuation for mergers and acquisitions and so on.
