I have a site which was ranking #1 in google for my k/w for months. I did not touch it. Until i tweeted the url in one message. I got deindexed. Is it possible that it happened because of one tweet? Is it reversible?

I very much doubt it. Some other reason, methinks.

I have hundreds of sites with twitter accounts feeding onto the site

I actually find it helps them than hurts them.

twitter helps me in rankings, i once ordered a domain, 2 hours later i twittered about the domain and i watched the logs (live), googlebot came 10 seconds after the twitter post and 1 hour later my site (1 page) was indexed in google. It doesnt work always like that, but my site was never banned because of twitter. It was banned because I pinged to much.

Is there any way to get indexed again and to find out why it is deindexed in the first place?

add your site to google webmaster tools and check what happend... there you can also resubmit your site to google. In my experience it is a long process.. it may be quicker to get some new domain.. but you can try it anyway. good luck!

Thanx, I'll try that. But I can't change the domain as the k/w is the k/w.com with 14 mil results, it would be hard to replace that :(
