Is it possible making decent money from AIRDROP tasks?

I'm thinking of doing AIRDROP but want to gain some info first. I understand that the number will be estimation not exact number.

1. How much can you earn from an airdrop project? Are Optimism and Aptos the exceptions that can earn some thousand $? Why they are so much higher than other projects?
2. How long to finish an airdrop task?
3. How much money you need to invest in an airdrop task?
4. How many % success of 1 project without cheating? And with cheating?
5. How much money can you make within a month from airdrop?

Hope someone can give some insight about it.

Before the 2021 bull market I entered many airdrops that mostly required sharing their links on social media like Twitter, and completing some other small steps.

From about 50 applied airdrops only one of the received coins worth in total around $800 and I sold them during the bull. Rest of them either disappeared or worth insignificant amounts.

So it's basically a numbers game, the more airdrops the better.

They are worth it if you hold them. Usually, no significant profits can be made immediately after the drop.

It's a numbers game tbh. Many crypto projects are scams nowadays so their tokens are worthless.

Waste of time.

It depends on luck. If you pick the right project, you can make good profit. But in general it will be waste of time.

There is a lot of AIRDROP going on all the time. basically, the more accounts you make, the higher the chance of drop and rewards. All events are different and it makes no sense to adjust them all to 1 specific answer. Some projects do not need attachments, some need to hold coins.
This is an interesting niche if you have time, a bank and a lot of accounts

Airdrops could be lucrative business, but its a gamble of time. I personally know a couple of guys who've made $100k+ in a few months with airdrops alone. But they did not set out to do this originally, once they made the first couple thousand bucks, it served a decent amount for their expenses for a month or two, so they had time to focus full time on airdrops and find ways to scale it.

So yes, you can experiment with airdrops as a part time gig while starting out. But don't expect this to replace your full time work anytime soon.
