I have a bunch of spun articles that I want to post on my new blog that's on a new domain. Does it matter how many new posts your blog has on a daily basis? Or does Google consider a certain amount of posts "too much", and then starts flagging your site?

If so, should I just launch the site at one time with 100s of posts already on it, then slowly add a few new posts every day?

If this is a money-site, your concern needs to be quality vs quantity.

Putting up 50 shit articles will do nothing for you that 10 good articles won't do except put you up for a penalty board.

If there was something like "too much content", then the big news media sites would be banned a long time ago...

The only thing that can do you any harm is your SPUN content itself (if it's bad quality).

Its all about the quality of the articles but I think its ok if you post up to 50 articles in a day, just post them at different intervals.

I personally wouldn't. That would annoy a lot of people, not to mention the amount of work it would take for you to post them. If we're talking pictures, maybe.

I wouldn't do that. It just wouldn't look natural. Who makes 50 posts a day on 1 blog?

It is better to schedule them around a week rather than just posting them in 1 day.

Do the quality work instead of focusing on quantity. It is better to write to 10 quality article for the blog instead to write 50. Don't sacrifice the quality for the quantity.

As people mentioned above think of quality over quantity, you're more likely to generate better traffic.

As everyone else has said on the thread, Quality should always precede quantity. I think you should look at driving traffic first before you start posting spun content if at all it is a monetization site... otherwise if it is just informational website, well, 100 articles will do!

I will never put spun articles on my money site, if it is just to get links to main site then it is fine.

Can't bold this enough; NEVER put spun bullshit on money site. Heck, not even first tier, and definitely no links to money site from this shit. Tier 3 is okay for this, and then linking to Tier 2 - but that's the highest anyonw should go with spun content, because it's simply bad.

It is quality that counts, otherwise your posts will never receive hits because they won't be ranked. So, what's the point?

When you say spun, what do you mean by that? Do you scrape form a different source and auto spin before putting on your website? Is the output unique and readable on top of making sense to readers?
