I mean some people suggest making a 3 page web 2.0 however my question is that if i make only one page web 2.0, would it still be safe and helpful in ranking

I will be making it manually btw

Yes that is fine but you do not want to leave them as one pagers... after you get them set up, add more pages to them to give you a better backlink.

Think about this, you are building the Web 2.0 as a backlink, right?
And you want good backlinks, right?
And it only takes a few minutes to add to those Web 2.0s, right?

Then you would be best served adding to those Web 2.0s over time with more pages.

Let common sense prevail here, OP.

When we did our Microsite Masters Penguin Analysis we found a huge percentage of sites hit by Penguin had one page 2.0s. I would really recommend adding more pages.

Yes that's fine, but not recommended. Add almost 5 to 10 posts in each blog to make it more natural. This is how I build tier web2.0's.

    ok
this was what i was actually trying to do

I have a site on #8, it was on #6 but it went to #8.
I want to make backlinks to it.
I thought I would just make like 20 one page web 2.0s to it.
    So basstracker, you suggest

is it okay that i make 20 web 2.0s to it such that they have lots of pages?

or i should make like 5 web 2.0s to it. Then just add more and more content to these web 2.0s?

My site is like 2 months old by the way

This is what i would be doing. Taking an article then spinning it to make it unique and correct its grammar. After use it to make web 2.0s. using different variations of it

Im just getting started with web 2.0 s too OP. Im doing 5 with 5 or 6 x500 word articles. Im creating the articles 100% manual as i read thats the best way to do it by reading about on the site last night. Maybe stick an article or 2 on each of the 5 web 2.0s monthly to keep it looking natural. Good question about whether to build 20 webs or 5 really good ones though?

I would make 20 Web 2.0s to it and NOT backlink them yet.

Then I would slowly build those Web 2.0s up with more pages over the next month or so... keep the outbound links very low so you are not linking out each time you add content to it.

After they were 5 - 10 pages each I would then start to backlink to them using whatever your favorite method/tool is.

You'll have links to your site that are gaining in strength and that will aid your site over time.

I wouldn't use this strategy for long-term. They will not pass manual reviews, make sure you add more content later.

As much as my answer will disappoint you, ~10 pages of hand-written content and images and relevant videos is important. Good news is that once you've done a ton of those you start creating them extra quickly.

I write 500-word articles for myself in less than 10 minutes if I know the niche.

Does adding more articles actually DO something for the link strength or is it just for not getting deleted by mods etc and look more "natural"?

Not only does it help prevent deletion, google will give more weight to sites with more content and pages.

you wont go nowhere with a one page web 2.0, thats a clear sign of spam. For web 2.0 to work they need to be like any good link... decent content and age matter

BTB and Artificial-Genius have given you sound advice and the preferred way of using web 2.0s post P3. Your web 2.0s need some age to them to get any significant benefit. While building and aging your web 2.0s add more content to your main site and get a few guests posts to some of the inner pages including some socials back to the guest post. Make sure your guest post are on good sites, not just those built for backlinks.

Actually, all you need is just one post on each web 2.0 site and it will rank just as well as a site with links from multi-page web 2.0s. Adding more pages is more about passing manual reviews and extending the lifetime of the web 2.0s than it is about ranking better. So much misinformation pervades this thread.

It works fine. The only reason you would want it to have more pages is to pass the manual review or to make sure, web2.0 mods don't delete it as spam. I always make 1 page web2.0's and they just work fine for me.

Greg,do you do internal linking with the same Web 2.0 site as long as the articles are relevant to each other?
