    Fairly simple question.
I have a few pages ranked in google. But I'm not getting enough conversions.

I'd like to rewrite the content once again. Will this affect my ranking ?
I'm gonna keep the word count and keyword density the same as before.

Yes it will affect - ranking is an ongoing process.
Depending on the quality of your new content, your position could go up or down.

Think about it logically, the majority of major websites continuously change their homepage.

It's hard to give a definite answer. If the word count and density really are unchanged, it shouldn't change much, but even the density of related terms in your text could have an effect.

It will affect your rankings because you are going to change whole text which will change the quality of your content.
Try to do some minor changes then It would be safe.

It will affect and you'll probably lose some rankings. You said you have a few sites, change one and see where that takes you.

Don't change all your cotent, improve your content maybe and you'll go up in rankings. This happened to me on one of my pages.

Yes, make sure you do more research about your topic. add more related articles and keep your kw density. I did this to my "one page site" and it works fine. but be careful you may get different results.

If you simply ADD a little to the existing content it usually has minimal dancing and typically goes positive. Google likes added content if its on topic. But if you're talking about totally new content it may mess with things for a while until it settles to a new rank (higher or lower). If you change topic it may be really bad though. So be careful.

Well if you add more words basically that would help , the only con at this point is that you gotta check the kw density over and over again ,
each time you update the content , aside from that there is nothing wrong , at least from my own experience

Most probably it will affect your ranking, so I don't recommend doing that unless you really have to.

Changing the content will also change ranking to a minor extent, if you keep word count (same or more) and same keyword density. Try the compelling content to draw more conversions.

    YES!!! It will increase ranking.

But remember, ranking is not equal to traffic and traffic is not equal to conversions. Along with content there are many other small things that can drastically skyrocket your conversions.

That's what we call "Conversion Rate Optimization".
