I wanted to buy a couple of sim cards and they asked me for id, so I guess the sim cards would be under my real name. Would facebook know they are registered under my name?

Why would you want to buy simcards that you need to register for?

And I doubt FB knows those simcards are registered on your name because they would need a live DB of all phone providers in the world which is not an issue as of now but then again, I don't trust anything that is registered.

I highly doubt Facebook can do owner lookups by phone number. You're safe.

Until they ask you to confirm your identity you are fine. If these accounts are just for work purposes, you can start new ones.

    Hi
    Nice to meet you.

Facebook Will don't know who is the registered person of sim card. Some time FB can know the sim card registered persons but it can differ by country. But Its harmful that huge amount sim card registered in one persona name. You government can take action for this type of issue.

    Cheers, Mahmud :D

Which country are you in ?
I think you're worrying without reason, especially if you're only wanting a couple, as you mention.

Me too strongly believes that Facebook have no rights to know names on which SIM's are registred. Should be safe.
