Hey guys I couldnt find a content section so I figured it would be ok in here..

I've seen wordpress plugins that fetch imdb info for movies and publish to wordpress blogs but is this legal? I tried to read up on there content licensing and it seems you can copy from wikipedia as long as you link back but does this apply for a commercial site?

Any info on where to search or input would be greatly appreciated thanks everyone!

Yes wikipedia's license says you may use the content as long as you attribute the source and if you modify it, you can only release it under similar license.

I doubt you'd get in trouble if you didn't follow the license, though.

    IMDB requires attribution as well:
    Code:
    http://www.imdb.com/licensing/subservicetc
