Is Twitter dying? The competition is intense right now. Instagram def has the upper-hand over ANY social network, but it feels like Twitter is just not as active anymore. Even with or without Instagram & VIne. Is this just me?

Do you mean activity in general or dead making money on there? I think it's just filling up with too much spam

I like Twitter for the odd business conversation and have done some great connecting on there. But I agree its filling up with automated spam and the same old posts without any variation.
For quality i like Google + and Facebook.

Stay ahead of the competition and you'll find that it's very much alive and breathing.

another "dying" post? come on man... nothing is dying, facebook, twitter and instagram are all safe and sound...
in fact twitter is actually gaining momentum at the moment and growing at a fast pace... don't worry about them.

vine had a halt because of instagram's videos but they will get back on track since the usage of both networks is pretty different... instagram is just people posting short videos about their everyday lives (from what i've seen) and vine is used for more creative short videos, check out Will Sasso's lemons videos if you have some time on your hand...

TL;DR twitter is not dying and is not going to in the near future.
