Is it me or is Dreamweaver CS 6 crap?

I have been using Dreamweaver CS6 for awhile now. I have not had a single problem with it, and Im running it on my laptop, but its a powerful laptop. If your set up crashes and freezes Im guessing your rig is not up to par to handle it. I am also not sure why people complain about CS6. I mean the interface and everything has changed but its basically the same as CS5 with more features and power. I also do not claim that Dreamweaver is the best because it is far from so. But it comes in handy here and there depending on what kind of site Im building at the time. I have been using Adobe since it was Macromedia and I still enjoy it. Maybe you should get a better computer?

Notepad++

I use DreamWeaver CS6 quite a bit, and I wouldn't call it crap, but it isn't much better than other free software such as notepad++.

No problemo at all. Been using it to create landing pages all day. Are you using an improperly pirated version which introduces CPU problem?

If you want less powerful HTML editor, try XSitePro or WebPlus.

must be your system mate, have CS6 Master Collection and love it, i use Ps, Pr, id and Dw with no issues. For email template design, still use dreamweaver CS3

Nah I'm joking it gets a bit laggy sometimes and it shouldn't because my computer is a beast but I still think it's great!

dreamwaver? really? bleah! real coders code by hand not using design view. and if u dont use design view in DW then there are much better IDEs out there. Netbeans is one for example.

contrary to what some think coding by hand is MUCH faster. not to mention more reusable and clean. it does require to know html/css like the back of ur hand though but then again it takes onl a couple of weeks or months to get there.
