Is it Me or is Clickbank saying F*ck You!!

So Ive had a campaign going on for quite some time but really just now started to put some effort into it.

I get all my traffic from bum marketing and serps

Here are some facts
Traffic for the last 2 weeks according to google analytics
220 visits with 330 page views

here are the number of hoplinks according to clickbank
396 zero order form impressions and $0 sales

WTF.

almost 400 hundred hops and no sales is that possible and even more how can i have double the amount of hops than visitors to my site.

That would be like saying all visitors click out to product sales page, closed the browser and then went so sales page again with my cookie.

oh yeah Im stuffing them too.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHATS GOING ON?

I've got the same issue, I'm pumped a fair bit of money into my Adwords campaigns for one type of item, tried it with two seperate products.

Over 400+ hops - NO ORDER FORM IMPRESSIONS...

and therefore no sales.

Yeap, I am beginning to doubt Clickbank already.

There's once I had 1,000 hops (targetted leads), about 50+ order form impressions, but 0 sales.

Also, there's once I had a streak of sales... suddenly 0 sales for the next few days. wtf huh?

same situation to myself 4 sales in one days now over 10days 2000+ impression on different product 25 order form impression but no sale?

Same problem here- at least 100 targeted visitors a day, to one of my sites, which has always converted around 1-2% for years.

Now nothing?? I haven't had a sale for weeks.

Damn, sounds like they're saying fuck you.

Maybe they have a hiccup in their system or something. Try contacting them and asking them wtf is going on.

Yeah, check this out, the problem seems to start around september 2009. I have ran the
same traffic to a clickbank product which converts pretty much around 0.5% since May 2009..i.e for every 200 hops, I would get a sale.

However, I have zero sales for the same traffic source to the same product since
september. And until recently last week, sales suddenly pop out of the blue.
This baffles me..

Still, I think it is a good idea to start a brand new account and split the traffic.
I have a faint gut feeling that they are penalising accounts (for whatever reasons)

...duh...

yeah i agree clickbank sucks at times!

i get over 3000 hops a day and sometime i get zero sales but then one day i wake up and i have over $200 buxs woo hoo

just got to keep at it

remember the more customers that walk through your door the more chances of sales!

get free traffic and let it flow!!

get some dirt cheap link wheels made and off you go

I'm in the same boat.. sales will be through the roof 1 week and the next they're DEAD. I don't trust CB anymore.

Merchants game the system and shave, then CB shaves on top of it. When they come together... it's pretty bad.

Even worse is the setup with GPT sites -- especially referring to GPT sites. You refer someone (GPT shave), they complete an offer (network and advertiser shave), and you get paid (GPT shave plus fees).

So why not offer assistance that might help someone with their problem instead of making some smart ass comment or bragging about making the clickbank premier program or criticizing someone for promoting their product or making a useless comment such as "Not a smart idea".

I can make $2k/week consistently with CB selling one product, with a minimum of $200/day. I will say that I pump around 10k hits to about ten different links that I promote per day, so that may be the entire difference.

As far as trends I've noticed, you might try promoting during the hours of (all in CST) 4-7AM, 11AM-1PM, 3-7PM, as I've noted that most of my sales are during those hours consistently.

As far as the entire shaving fact goes, I see about 5% of my traffic being "lost" an unaccounted for. I've always reasoned that this was a reasonable margin of error, considering adblock and every other web program out there that stops tracking cookies and whatnot.

This has been happening for years. I had a product-review website that was pulling in $100/week for six weeks, and then suddenly just stopped. No amount of kvetching to CB helped at all. I changed my clickbank ID over to a new account, and like magic it started making sales again for about a week, then stopped anew.

I'm trying not to believe that they're just full of sh!t.
