Hi, I am planning to sell by collecting all hollywood actress and bollywood actress pictures without watermark. Is it legitimate to sell these non-watermark actress pictures? If eligible what is the best price to fix for 100 quality non-watermark pics? I am going to sell these pictures through my site. Will clickbank accepts these type of sites? If not suggest any other marketplace? Please give your suggestions..Thanks in advance!
Yes this is the very odd money making idea but also going to works well if we plan to sell differently because it is very hard to get non-watermark actress pictures, but main doubts are not yet clarified..can anyone please help me regarding these queries..
What size shots are they? 8x10's? etc.. I have no idea what the copyright laws state with actress pictures that are non-watermarked so no idea there. But I would just build a site with a gallery of the photos and put a paypal buy now under the photos in which you are selling then drive traffic with a good PPV company and target keywords and other websites related to the photos ur selling. And if they are quality they might sell. You could do for all less then 50 dollar gamble. Might get luck and they all sell, then again you might break even who knows.
If you are not the copyright holder of these pictures then you are in danger of being sued. Photographic agencies take theft of their intellectual property very seriously.
If you are going to do this you might want to consider signing up with an incentive network and putting a content locker on the pictures. That way if anyone has a copyright claim they'll just send a DMCA instead of a full blown lawsuit(probably) as you aren't directly charging cash for the pictures. ~UNdefy
I'm sorry if this sounds like a real newb question, but just how can one get sued by the "copyright holder" if the actress is in the public eye and the pictures don't have any watermarks?.. How would one claim to have the "original" copyright to any photos if they are not watermarked?. thanks
You don't have to watermark an image to own the copyright to it. You simply have to be the copyright holder. Typically, the photographer will own the copyright to images they took by default unless they either sell the rights, or are a freelancer transferring their rights directly to an agency. I hope that helps you understand a little better.
