Is it legal to write a book on my journey in an online game?

Hi all,

I am thinking of writing a ebook about my journey/story of playing a online game since young and sell it. like include my achievement in the game , etc?

Is it legal? will I get sue by the game creator?

I'm pretty sure it would be fine as long as you source whom the game creator is. Let me know when you write this book as well. I run a gaming website dedicated to the voice of the gamers. I would love to hear your story and possibly help you sell!
 
I don't think they'd like that since you'd be profiting from their work. Best option would be to contact the game developers and ask them.
 
I don't see any problem cause your writing about you playing the game and what you do in it.
 
You will be fine, there's nothing illegal in writing about playing a game, just the same as it's not illegal writing about driving a particular car or using a specific computer.
